Student Leadership Council – rural Nepal

We are proud to announce our Student Leadership Council in rural Nepal!

The Help Nepal Appeal team and I launched an exciting SLC initiative that enables the empowerment of the student voice, as well as bridging the gap between teachers, ‘mainstream’ students and Special Needs Education students.

Out of 34 interested students from Years 7-9, we short listed 10 candidates who then formulated and delivered inspirational speeches. Though a hard decision, 5 students were voted for and selected to be a member of the Student Leadership Council.

Updates coming soon!
